The twin axle design gives inherent reverse cam strength and a greater expansion range than comparable single axle camming units. This means you can carry fewer pieces to cover the size range you want to protect, and you’re more likely to pick the right cam first try.

Since their introduction in 1987 Camalots have undergone three generations of refinement. The new Camalot C4s are substantially lighter than their predecessors with a new, more flexible stem and an even smoother action.
Note that the sizes have been changed slightly above size 3 (sizes 0.4-3 remain the same).
